How to Contact a Rehabilitator~
It's important that you contact a local wildlife rehabilitator because they are the animal's best chance at survival, short of being reunited with the mother. I would suggest contacting local veterinarian clinics, as well as your state's equivalent of the wildlife commission. You may also use the links listed below. In the meantime, please do not give the animal food or water, unless you have been directed by the rehabilitator to do so.
It's very important to notate when, how, and where you found the animal. Wildlife rehabilitators must keep this information, and if possible, they will release the animal in the area it was found.
