Raven became part of the family in June of 2004 when I was looking to adopt a kitten. I came across her picture on a local rescue organization's website and instantly fell in love. Gordon came to live with the family in July of 2004. I wanted to find a companion for Raven, even though she would have preferred to be an only child. Sammy came along in October of 2004. His mother was struck and killed by a car when he was one week old, and a local veterinarian hand-raised him. The boys prefer to spend their time wrestling and watching birds -- when they're not napping -- and Raven prefers to be a diva. All three are extremely spoiled.

Over the years, I've taken in rescued feeder mice and rats. I've had seventeen mice: Sweet Pea, Silky, Tilly, Ariel, Lucky, Hershey, Frederick, Sophie, Zella, Liam, Lily, Sunny, Addy, Mama, Pearl, Star, and Stripes. I've had three rats: Sweet Pea, Sammy, and Frankie.
